CONTEST RULES

The Energy Exchange Magazine 2016 Reader Survey (the “Contest”) is intended to be conducted in Canada (excluding the province of Quebec), and shall only be construed and evaluated according to Canadian law. The contest is open to residents of Canada only (excluding those in the province of Quebec). This contest is void in whole or in part where prohibited by law. Entry in this contest constitutes acceptance of these contest rules (“Contest Rules”).

THE CONTEST PERIOD

The contest entry period commences at 9.am. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on January 4, 2016 and ends at 5:00 p.m. EST on March 31, 2016.

ELIGIBILITY

This contest is open to individuals who are residents of Canada and at of the age of majority in the province or territory where they reside. Employees (full-time, part-time or contract, present or past) of The Pollution Probe Foundation, and anyone whose immediate family (parent, sibling, spouse, child) or household member is an employee of The Pollution Probe Foundation are ineligible for the Contest and may not enter. All entrants must comply with the Contest Rules.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest and win a prize.

CONTEST ENTRY

Complete the online Energy Exchange Magazine Reader Survey and entry form, and submit your responses by April 30, 2016. All entries must be received during the official contest period. At the end of the contest period, entrants will have their names entered into a draw to win one of two prizes. Prizes are a Canadian Geographic Atlas valued at $49.95 and a Power Traveller PowerMonkey Solar Charger valued at $92.00.

Please note that only one entry per person and per email address is permitted during the Contest Period. Multiple entries will be discarded.

WINNER SELECTION

The prize winners will be randomly selected by draw from the eligible entries by May 7, 2016. The Contest Sponsor will send an email to the potential winners by May 14, 2016, using the email address provided by the entrants on the Contest entry form (the Notification email). The Notification Email will inform entrants that they are potential winners of a prize.

In order to win, selected entrants must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, multi-step mathematical skill-testing question by telephone or e-mail.

The winners will be contacted by The Pollution Probe Foundation to make arrangements for the awarding of their prize.

Any entrant who is found to be ineligible, fails to submit the Reader Survey and entry form or fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question will forfeit the prize. An alternate winner may be selected from the remaining entrants.

CHANCES OF WINNING

Chances of winning is dependent on the number of entrants during the Contest Period.

CONTACT AND OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES

By entering, all entrants agree that The Pollution Probe Foundation may use their names and contact information for further contact. All entries in the Readership Survey become the property of The Pollution Probe Foundation. The Pollution Probe Foundation assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed or misdirected entries.

LAW

This Contest is subject to federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. These Contest rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over the Sponsor, excluding Quebec. This contest is void where prohibited.
